At BioCote®, we have the pleasure to work with some extraordinary women who decided to dedicate their careers to working within the fields of STEM. We interviewed Ellie Campbell, our chemist, and Karen Seff, our current microbiology intern to better understand the fields they work in and what motivated them to pursue a career in STEM in the first place.
Ever since the Covid-19 pandemic impeded factory capabilities and sown chaos in desperate buyers, the world has been experiencing supply shortages on every level. From toilet paper to petrol, virtually no industry was safe. An industry that has likewise suffered a shortage blow since mid of 2020 is the world’s plastics industry, with supply disruptions that continue to remain visible to this day.
On 3rd November 2021, the Composites UK Trade Association Industry Awards made a return to The National Motorcycle Museum, coinciding with the Advanced Engineering Show!
With 300 people in attendance, BioCote® attended the Composites UK Industry Awards dinner for our contribution to the high-profile UK innovation project AMICABLE, a collaboration of six companies within the UK Composites industry.
